DB-48 DSP Central Core
The DB-48’ DSP Central Core is the engine of this console system and composed of the power supply (duplexed as standard), AUDSS (Audio I/O Subsystem), and DSP sections.
The DSP section with 32-bit floating point calculation utilizes the high-reliability modules inherited from the Otari DB-10 and DB-32 digital audio mixing console systems.


I/O Configuration
The DSP Central Core has 20 slots for I/O modules. For the 16 slots (4 slots are used by the dedicated modules) customers can freely select the I/O modules from the following.

External Interfaces
The DB-48 has five types of parallel I/O control: FADER START, GP IN/OUT, STUDIO I/O, TB Rtn Control, and SIGNALLING. Various features of the mixing console can be provided for external systems via these control I/Os.
