Upgrade Now! iZ Technology Corporation, the software developer for RADAR and RADAR II, have developed the latest version of operating software for both units. RADAR I software version 1.68 and RADAR II software version 2.52 are now available for download from the Otari website or from the iZ Technology web site at www.recordingtheworld.com.
These software versions have been fully tested by Otari's professional and experienced expert staff and are fully backed by Otari's world-class and world-wide customer service network.

To download, right-click on the desired item and save the file on your PC's hard disk.
To extract the self-extracting Winimage files:

Use 3.5 inch, IBM formatted 1.44MB floppy disks. |
|
B. |
Label floppy "RADAR ver.x.xx System Software". |
|
C. |
Download the self-extracting file to your Windows Desktop (e.g., c:\rii252.exe).
This file will be used to make a floppy disk for use on your RADAR recorder.

Insert floppy disk labeled RADAR x.xx System Software into drive A: |
|
E. |
Double click file and confirm copy to "A:\". |
|
F. |
RADAR files will be written to the floppy. |

G. |
If you are creating system software, only 1 floppy disk is needed.
Repeat for Disk 2 thru 5 if you are making IDE disks (IDE software requires 5 floppy disks).

Power up the RADAR-II. Select SYSTEM menu...then select UPGRADE SYSTEM and press the ENTER key. |

Power down the RADAR recorder. |

Insert "RADAR ver.x.xx System Software" disk into the floppy drive on the RADAR recorder, bootup the system and follow the prompts. Refer to the RADAR owners manual on "Upgrade System" if there are any questions. |

Verify new system software is installed, and verify operation. |
