BIRTV 2005 Report

In cooperation with our two Chinese distributors, Beijing Guanhua Glory AV System Integration Co., Ltd (hereafter "Guanhua") and Hai- Xia Broadcast & TV Equipment Engineering Co., Ltd (hereafter "Hai- Xia"), Otari, Inc. attended "BIRTV 2005 (Beijing International Radio, TV & Film Equipment exhibition)" held at China International Exhibition Center (Beijing) from August 25th to 28th.
Aimed at the 2008 Beijing Olympic games, Chinese broadcasting stations are accelerating further digitalization of their equipment. Reflecting this trend, the show was successful with more than 350 companies in attendance and over 50,000 visitors (according to the official web site). It was a very large exhibition on a worldwide scale not limited to the Asian region.

	At the large booth of Guanhua (headquartered in Beijing) with many video monitor displays installed, Otari products were introduced mainly via video. Through Guanhua's unique presentation which placed a high value on communication with visitors, we were able to impress many visitors with the advantages of Otari products.

The booth of Hai-Xia (headquartered in Fuzhou) was crowded with their various merchandise and was very attractive. The DB-32 digital broadcast console was placed at the center of the booth and other Otari products were introduced though panel photos. In particular, the DB-32 that already attracted attention by its grandeur and easy operation, succeed in demonstrating the appeal of its advantages through eager explanations by the Hai- Xia staff.

This exhibition was a good opportunity to introduce Otari products to visitors from various districts of China.
